Employee Engagement

Moving a ten thousand person workforce from low to high engagement can have a positive impact worth millions of dollars in increased effectiveness and efficiency, according to DDI. Who wouldn’t want that for their company? Yet, so many organizations miss the boat when it comes to employee engagement. Deadlines interfere, best intentions get lost amidst fire fighting, and the company stays in its unengaged rut.

Tap into your organization’s brain trust by engaging your employees in meaningful, value-added ways, such as idea generation and cross-functional problem-solving. We work with you to identify the right engagement method given your context and goals. We’ll help you reap the benefits of higher engagement from better ideas to higher morale, increased productivity, and lower attrition.

Best for organizations that need to engage employees around a strategy, initiative, or change or for organizations that want an ongoing mechanism for tapping into employee opinion, creativity, and / or feedback. For more information, please email.

360° Assessment & LeaderWeb

Leaders develop ideas about their strengths, weaknesses, and challenges. Unfortunately, these perceptions don’t always correspond with other people's opinions. Blind spots, which can take the form of overlooked strengths or below-the-radar weaknesses, can prevent leaders from advancing in the organization and achieving new successes. At their most severe, these overlooked issues can sandbag a career. One of the best tools for helping leaders uncover blind spots and improve effectiveness is the 360° assessment.

360° assessments provide confidential feedback on a person’s performance from direct reports, peers, an individual, his or her boss, and others in the organization. The results are compiled into a feedback report that shows the person what each role in the organization sees as their strengths and areas for development.

To this powerful tool, we add a LeaderWeb analysis. LeaderWeb analysis helps leaders extract value from their networks by using connections wisely to benefit their projects, their company, and their professional development. LeaderWeb shows how leaders’ networks actually operate: who brokers information, who connects people, and who can get what leaders need. It also shows the strengths and drawbacks of the leaders’ networks and helps leaders identify how to bolster underrepresented areas. When combined with the 360º assessment, leaders gain knowledge, perspective, skills, and tools that ramp up their personal and interpersonal effectiveness. For more information, please email.

KnowledgeWeb

Knowledge is one of a company’s most important intangible assets. By wisely mining, sharing, and transforming knowledge, companies design the products, services, and breakthroughs that can make the difference between tepid and enthusiastic customer response. Unfortunately, too many companies see knowledge as something impossible to analyze or leverage overtly. The problem lies in the tools we have to measure and analyze knowledge.

KnowledgeWeb provides the missing information needed to convert ideas into profitable products and services. Much like an MRI shows the inner workings of the body, KnowledgeWeb provides a snapshot of the inner workings of an organization. KnowledgeWeb shows how work really gets done: where innovation emerges and develops, how ideas evolve into executable plans, and when projects proceed to completion. More importantly, KnowledgeWeb reveals the combinations and interactions that can transform a group of individuals into a high performing, innovative powerhouse. This initiative helps organizations take full advantage of their knowledge assets. For more information, read our PDF.

BUILD SKILL

Building Cultural Intelligence

One of the most frequently cited reasons for failure in international mergers and outsourcing engagements is culture. Often, organizations underestimate the power of culture to influence decision making, problem solving, and collaboration. To build partnerships and relationships, we need to improve our cultural intelligence: our capability to move fluidly and work successfully with different countries and customs. In this course, participants will build cultural intelligence and gain skills to help them succeed cross-culturally. Focal countries depend on participant needs. Popular focal countries include China, India, Japan, and Mexico.

This workshop is offered publicly through a partnership with Boston University Corporate Education Center. For more information, visit the class page at BUCEC.
